Donation to Taal Volcano eruption evacuees

Since the Taal Volcano eruption, families and individuals of affected areas had to flee their homes to move to safer grounds. The Batangas government reported that over 160,000 victims have taken refuge in evacuation centres in Cavite, Batangas and Quezon province.

Though some victims can still go home, the Philippine officials have recently implemented a lockdown to danger zones. This means that people can no longer enter areas within a 9-mile radius from the volcano.

Kabayan Remit Donates to Victims of Taal Volcano Eruption

Last weekend, our Manila team visited one of the donation centres of Philippine Red Cross in Quezon City. We shared some relief goods that we hope can be of help to the victims currently staying in evacuation centres.

We, at Kabayan Remit, believe that every little help can make a big impact on the victims’ lives. Every donation, no matter how big or small, can make a difference.
